Snowshoeing and Winter walks
Crossing meadows and forests with snowshoes, savoring the silence and the whiteness of the snow
Snowshoeing, or walking with snowshoes, has become a very popular sport in recent years, but it also takes us back in time. In the past, our grandparents had to use wooden snowshoes to move more comfortably during the winter months when heavy snowfalls prevented easy travel.
Walking through snowy forests allows us to discover the tracks left by animals and to get to know a different, yet equally magical, nature compared to the summer.
Val di Rabbi, with its vast untouched spaces, is perfect for snowshoe excursions. In the valley, there are six marked trails with directional arrows and signs bearing the “snowshoe” logo.
